♥ BRUSHES ♥
Here are my new brushes that I ordered recently! *.* Let me tell you some more about all the brushes I use..
For blushing with soft pastels I use the whole selection of various artistic brushes, the bigger and small ones, flat and round, with natural or synthetic bristle. Usually I have one favourite brush for exact painting step, f.e. one brush that is perfect for the eyeshadow, the other one for lips color, one for cheeks blush for bigger dolls, the other for smaller ones and lots of brushes for smaller details that need to be blushed as well :)
It's a matter of time when you choose your favourite brush types, you just get used to those that are the handiest for you.
The bigger deal is with the brushes for all those fine lines in your faceup. You must be very picky with them. You don't want to buy a super pointy brush, that will go all dishevelled after a few uses and that's what usually happen to the cheap ones.
If you need a nice, durable, fine brush check out the offer of brands that provide modeling goods. They will surely have good brushes made of natural or high quality synthetic hair, that will do their job excellently and make your work easier!
Personally, I choose Tamiya brushes. They are quite expensive, but widely available and they are very, very good, believe me! The hair is perfect (however you need to replace your brushes from time to time, even if they're super efficient) and their wooden handles are lightweight and extra handy. I love them to bits! They're very professional products ♥
On my pic from front to last row:
1. Tamiya Modeling Brush HG 87153 (Ultra Fine) - the best for ultra fine lines on lips, eyelashes and brows, very handy, very helpful.
2. Tamiya Modeling Brush Pro No.000 - My MUST HAVE, favourite brush made of natural Kolinsky Sable hair, it's flexible but also highly durable and naturally forms a fine point. Well designed handle is a big plus to it too!
3. The next 3 brushes are Tamiya Modeling Brush HF Standard Set - they're cheaper, however still very helpful. First one for straight fine lines, the next two for pastel blushing of small areas.
4. And best of the bests haha! You may wonder what is that big weird thing at the end, yes it's a brush as well, however its main part is to remove all the dusts from the doll head. It's anti-static cleaning Elecom compact brush. I got it for the first time and I'm going to try it on dolls (silly little dusts are very annoying while painting >.<) as for now it worked very well with cleaning my cellphone screen 8D
